Industrial designer
While working as an Industrial Designer at Innolux Oy, I contributed to lighting product development through 3D modeling, visualization, prototyping, and quality-focused design. I was responsible for building and testing prototypes, including rapid 3D-printed solutions, and played an active role in evaluating product quality and identifying areas for improvement through testing and reporting.
In addition to product development, I created user and installation guides, as well as product graphics such as stickers, contributing to clearer and more user-friendly communication. I was also involved in the company’s rebranding efforts, helping to shape the visual identity across different touchpoints.
My work included designing product components using SolidEdge and supporting the development of new lighting solutions from concept to implementation. As part of the product development team, I contributed to several products, including Wirkkala Polygon & Tiima, Epic Bright Light, Valovoima Mini DTW Bright Light, Multi Table Light, the Kumpula light series, the Smusso Pendant Light series, Carin series, Leena Wall Light, and Lisa 450 pendant light series.
In my role, I supported the development process rather than acting as the lead designer. My responsibilities included prototyping, 3D modelling, quality management, and assisting in project coordination. This experience allowed me to collaborate with some of Finland’s most renowned designers and gain valuable insight into bringing products from concept to production.
